ABOUT MATT DEANGELO

At the end of Matt’s junior year in high school, he went to work for Baker Electric, beginning work full-time there in 1985 following graduation.

In 1987, Matt was accepted into the apprenticeship program as an Apprentice Electrician and graduated in 1991, having earned his Journeyman Electrician Card. Matt is a proud member of IBEW Local 347 where he worked for 38 years as the jobsite Journeyman Foreman and General Foreman.

Matt has been very active in his Local Union, having served on the Examining Board, as the Health and Welfare Fund Trustee, Recording Secretary, and was elected as a Delegate to the International Convention in 2016 and 2022.

In 2015, following a workplace accident that nearly claimed his life, Matt returned to work after nearly a year of grueling recovery. Last January, after 8 years back at work, Matt retired with 38 years of service as a union electrician.

Now, Matt wants to serve in a different capacity as Warren County Supervisor. He looks forward to hearing about the issues you care about, your hopes for the future of Warren County, and how he can best serve you as your next Warren County Supervisor for District 2!
